Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, SV2B Mutation is linked to patient survival in 8 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated SV2B data layer compared with 21 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in cervical squamous cell carcinoma and endocervical adenocarcinoma (CESC), where higher SV2B Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated SV2B expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as SKCM and UCEC show a favorable association.
CESC, DLBC, and OV are the cancer types where SV2B Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
