Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, SUSD2 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 5 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated SUSD2 data layer compared with 26 for mass-spec protein and 6 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in thyroid carcinoma (THCA), where higher SUSD2 Mutation is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated SUSD2 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as SKCM show a favorable association.
THCA, LIHC, and LUAD are the cancer types where SUSD2 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
