Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, SUSD1 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 4 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated SUSD1 data layer compared with 22 for mass-spec protein and 1 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in lung adenocarcinoma (LUAD), where higher SUSD1 Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated SUSD1 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as UCEC show a favorable association.
LUAD, SARC, and PRAD are the cancer types where SUSD1 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
