Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, SURF6 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 2 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated SURF6 data layer compared with 28 for mass-spec protein and 5 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in thymoma (THYM), where higher SURF6 Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated SURF6 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker.
THYM and BRCA are the cancer types where SURF6 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
