Across TCGA patient cohorts, SUMO3 protein abundance is significantly associated with the RNA expression of many other genes, with 8,206 significant associations in total. PDAC shows the largest number of these associations.

The most reproducible SUMO3-associated genes across cancer lineages are CCR2, HERC5, and GPR174. Each is linked with SUMO3 in more than 3 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both SUMO3-to-partner and partner-to-SUMO3 results are reported.
