Across TCGA patient cohorts, SUMO2 mutation is significantly associated with the RNA expression of many other genes, with 910 significant associations in total. UCEC shows the largest number of these associations.

The most reproducible SUMO2-associated genes across cancer lineages are RN7SL134P, HIKESHI, and DSN1. Each is linked with SUMO2 in more than 1 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both SUMO2-to-partner and partner-to-SUMO2 results are reported.
