Across TCGA patient cohorts, SUMF1 mutation is significantly associated with the total protein of many other genes, with 16 significant associations in total. UCEC shows the largest number of these associations.

The most reproducible SUMF1-associated genes across cancer lineages are JNK_pT183_Y185, ERK2, and MEK1. Each is linked with SUMF1 in more than 1 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both SUMF1-to-partner and partner-to-SUMF1 results are reported.
