Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, SUGP2 mass-spec protein is linked to patient survival in 3 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated SUGP2 data layer compared with 30 for mass-spec protein and 7 for mutation status.
The strongest signal is observed in head and neck squamous cell carcinoma (HNSC), where higher SUGP2 mass-spec protein is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated SUGP2 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as GBM show a favorable association.
HNSC, PDAC, and GBM are the cancer types where SUGP2 mass-spec protein most reproducibly stratifies survival.
