Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, SUGP1 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 4 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated SUGP1 data layer compared with 25 for mass-spec protein and 5 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in esophageal carcinoma (ESCA), where higher SUGP1 Mutation is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated SUGP1 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as UCEC show a favorable association.
ESCA, HNSC, and UCEC are the cancer types where SUGP1 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
