Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, SUGCT-AS1 RNA is linked to patient survival in 23 of 34 cancer types, making it the most broadly survival-associated SUGCT-AS1 data layer.

The strongest signal is observed in uveal melanoma (UVM), where higher SUGCT-AS1 RNA is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated SUGCT-AS1 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as LUAD and CESC show a favorable association.

UVM, KIRP, and KICH are the cancer types where SUGCT-AS1 RNA most reproducibly stratifies survival.
