Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, SUCO Mutation is linked to patient survival in 3 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated SUCO data layer compared with 21 for mass-spec protein and 3 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in head and neck squamous cell carcinoma (HNSC), where higher SUCO Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated SUCO expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as UCEC show a favorable association.
HNSC, UCEC, and CHOL are the cancer types where SUCO Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
