Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, SUCLA2P3 RNA differs between tumor and matched normal tissue in 6 of 18 cancer types tested, making tumor–normal expression one of SUCLA2P3’s most consistent transcriptional readouts.
The strongest signal is observed in head and neck squamous cell carcinoma (HNSC), where SUCLA2P3 RNA is more highly expressed in tumor relative to normal tissue. In most cancer types SUCLA2P3 is over-expressed in tumor, although a few such as PAAD and KICH show the opposite, repressed pattern.
HNSC, UCEC, and PAAD are the cancer types where SUCLA2P3 tumor–normal differential expression is most reproducible.
