Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, STXBP6 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 4 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated STXBP6 data layer compared with 21 for mass-spec protein and 6 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in esophageal carcinoma (ESCA), where higher STXBP6 Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated STXBP6 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as UCEC show a favorable association.
ESCA, UCEC, and PRAD are the cancer types where STXBP6 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
