Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, STXBP5 RNA is linked to patient survival in 25 of 34 cancer types, making it the most broadly survival-associated STXBP5 data layer compared with 11 for mutation status and 5 for mass-spec protein.

The strongest signal is observed in adrenocortical carcinoma (ACC), where higher STXBP5 RNA is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated STXBP5 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as LAML and COAD show a favorable association.

ACC, CESC, and KIRP are the cancer types where STXBP5 RNA most reproducibly stratifies survival.
