Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, STXBP5 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 11 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated STXBP5 data layer compared with 25 for mass-spec protein and 5 for mass-spec protein.

The strongest signal is observed in head and neck squamous cell carcinoma (HNSC), where higher STXBP5 Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated STXBP5 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as UCEC and SKCM show a favorable association.

HNSC, UCEC, and KICH are the cancer types where STXBP5 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
