Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, STXBP2 RNA is linked to patient survival in 29 of 34 cancer types, making it the most broadly survival-associated STXBP2 data layer compared with 4 for mutation status and 7 for mass-spec protein.

The strongest signal is observed in brain lower grade glioma (LGG), where higher STXBP2 RNA is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated STXBP2 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as CESC and UCEC show a favorable association.

LGG, CESC, and UCEC are the cancer types where STXBP2 RNA most reproducibly stratifies survival.
