Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, STX2 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 5 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated STX2 data layer compared with 30 for mass-spec protein and 5 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in head and neck squamous cell carcinoma (HNSC), where higher STX2 Mutation is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated STX2 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker.
HNSC, LUAD, and UCEC are the cancer types where STX2 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
