Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, STX1A mass-spec protein is linked to patient survival in 3 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated STX1A data layer compared with 25 for mass-spec protein and 4 for mutation status.

The strongest signal is observed in pancreatic ductal adenocarcinoma (PDAC), where higher STX1A mass-spec protein is associated with better overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated STX1A expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as PDAC and GBM show a favorable association.

PDAC, HNSC, and GBM are the cancer types where STX1A mass-spec protein most reproducibly stratifies survival.
