Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, STX17 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 3 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated STX17 data layer compared with 24 for mass-spec protein and 7 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in esophageal carcinoma (ESCA), where higher STX17 Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated STX17 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker.
ESCA, LUAD, and KIRP are the cancer types where STX17 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
