Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, STX17 mass-spec protein is linked to patient survival in 7 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated STX17 data layer compared with 24 for mass-spec protein and 3 for mutation status.

The strongest signal is observed in uterine corpus endometrial carcinoma (UCEC), where higher STX17 mass-spec protein is associated with better disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated STX17 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as UCEC and LUAD show a favorable association.

UCEC, LUAD, and PDAC are the cancer types where STX17 mass-spec protein most reproducibly stratifies survival.
