Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, STX17-AS1 RNA is linked to patient survival in 20 of 34 cancer types, making it the most broadly survival-associated STX17-AS1 data layer.

The strongest signal is observed in mesothelioma (MESO), where higher STX17-AS1 RNA is associated with better overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated STX17-AS1 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as MESO and KIRC show a favorable association.

MESO, KIRC, and UVM are the cancer types where STX17-AS1 RNA most reproducibly stratifies survival.
