Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, STX12 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 2 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated STX12 data layer compared with 23 for mass-spec protein and 4 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in uterine corpus endometrial carcinoma (UCEC), where higher STX12 Mutation is associated with better disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated STX12 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as UCEC show a favorable association.
UCEC and HNSC are the cancer types where STX12 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
