Across TCGA cell cohorts, STS mutation is significantly associated with the RNA expression of many other genes, with 18 significant associations in total. LARGE_INTESTINE shows the largest number of these associations.

The most reproducible STS-associated genes across cancer lineages are GPHB5, SCYGR8, and MYOT. Each is linked with STS in more than 1 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both STS-to-partner and partner-to-STS results are reported.
