Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, STPG2 RNA is linked to patient survival in 20 of 34 cancer types, making it the most broadly survival-associated STPG2 data layer compared with 5 for mutation status.

The strongest signal is observed in lung squamous cell carcinoma (LUSC), where higher STPG2 RNA is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated STPG2 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as READ and SKCM show a favorable association.

LUSC, READ, and SKCM are the cancer types where STPG2 RNA most reproducibly stratifies survival.
