Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, STOML2 mass-spec protein is linked to patient survival in 5 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated STOML2 data layer compared with 22 for mass-spec protein and 8 for mutation status.

The strongest signal is observed in lung adenocarcinoma (LUAD), where higher STOML2 mass-spec protein is associated with better disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated STOML2 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as LUAD and CCRCC show a favorable association.

LUAD, CCRCC, and GBM are the cancer types where STOML2 mass-spec protein most reproducibly stratifies survival.
