Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, STMN2 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 4 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated STMN2 data layer compared with 16 for mass-spec protein and 1 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in head and neck squamous cell carcinoma (HNSC), where higher STMN2 Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated STMN2 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as SKCM show a favorable association.
HNSC, UCEC, and SKCM are the cancer types where STMN2 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
