Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, STMN1P2 RNA differs between tumor and matched normal tissue in 1 of 18 cancer types tested, making tumor–normal expression one of STMN1P2’s most consistent transcriptional readouts.
The strongest signal is observed in uterine corpus endometrial carcinoma (UCEC), where STMN1P2 RNA is more highly expressed in tumor relative to normal tissue. In most cancer types STMN1P2 is over-expressed in tumor.
UCEC are the cancer types where STMN1P2 tumor–normal differential expression is most reproducible.
