Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, STK40 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 5 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated STK40 data layer compared with 25 for mass-spec protein and 2 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in ovarian serous cystadenocarcinoma (OV), where higher STK40 Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated STK40 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as UCEC show a favorable association.
OV, CHOL, and BLCA are the cancer types where STK40 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
