Across TCGA patient cohorts, STK40 RNA expression is significantly associated with the go_rna of many other GO terms, with 7,165 significant associations in total. HNSC shows the largest number of these associations.

The most reproducible STK40-associated GO terms across cancer lineages are RNA secondary structure unwinding, Regulation of autophagosome maturation, and Regulation of small GTPase mediated signal transduction. Each is linked with STK40 in more than 25 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both STK40-to-partner and partner-to-STK40 results are reported.
