Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, STK38 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 4 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated STK38 data layer compared with 28 for mass-spec protein and 6 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in bladder urothelial carcinoma (BLCA), where higher STK38 Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated STK38 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as UCEC show a favorable association.
BLCA, UCEC, and SARC are the cancer types where STK38 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
