Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, STK33 mass-spec protein is linked to patient survival in 5 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated STK33 data layer compared with 22 for mass-spec protein and 4 for mutation status.
The strongest signal is observed in lung squamous cell carcinoma (LSCC), where higher STK33 mass-spec protein is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated STK33 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as PDAC and CCRCC show a favorable association.
LSCC, UCEC, and PDAC are the cancer types where STK33 mass-spec protein most reproducibly stratifies survival.
