Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, STK32B RNA differs between tumor and matched normal tissue in 12 of 18 cancer types tested, making tumor–normal expression one of STK32B’s most consistent transcriptional readouts.

The strongest signal is observed in kidney chromophobe (KICH), where STK32B RNA is repressed in tumor relative to normal tissue. In most cancer types STK32B is over-expressed in tumor, although a few such as KICH and BLCA show the opposite, repressed pattern.

KICH, BLCA, and STAD are the cancer types where STK32B tumor–normal differential expression is most reproducible.
