Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, STK32A RNA differs between tumor and matched normal tissue in 14 of 18 cancer types tested, making tumor–normal expression one of STK32A’s most consistent transcriptional readouts.
The strongest signal is observed in kidney renal clear cell carcinoma (KIRC), where STK32A RNA is repressed in tumor relative to normal tissue. In most cancer types STK32A is over-expressed in tumor, although a few such as KIRC and COAD show the opposite, repressed pattern.
KIRC, THCA, and COAD are the cancer types where STK32A tumor–normal differential expression is most reproducible.
