Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, STK25 RNA differs between tumor and matched normal tissue in 14 of 18 cancer types tested, making tumor–normal expression one of STK25’s most consistent transcriptional readouts.
The strongest signal is observed in thyroid carcinoma (THCA), where STK25 RNA is repressed in tumor relative to normal tissue. In most cancer types STK25 is over-expressed in tumor, although a few such as THCA and KICH show the opposite, repressed pattern.
THCA, HNSC, and COAD are the cancer types where STK25 tumor–normal differential expression is most reproducible.
