Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, STK17A Mutation is linked to patient survival in 2 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated STK17A data layer compared with 18 for mass-spec protein and 4 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in liver hepatocellular carcinoma (LIHC), where higher STK17A Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated STK17A expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as UCEC show a favorable association.
LIHC and UCEC are the cancer types where STK17A Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
