Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, STK11 RNA differs between tumor and matched normal tissue in 10 of 18 cancer types tested, making tumor–normal expression one of STK11’s most consistent transcriptional readouts.

The strongest signal is observed in colon adenocarcinoma (COAD), where STK11 RNA is more highly expressed in tumor relative to normal tissue. In most cancer types STK11 is over-expressed in tumor.

COAD, LIHC, and STAD are the cancer types where STK11 tumor–normal differential expression is most reproducible.
