Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, STIP1 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 2 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated STIP1 data layer compared with 28 for mass-spec protein and 6 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in head and neck squamous cell carcinoma (HNSC), where higher STIP1 Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated STIP1 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker.
HNSC and LUAD are the cancer types where STIP1 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
