Across TCGA patient cohorts, STING1 protein abundance is significantly associated with the RNA expression of many other genes, with 15,465 significant associations in total. LSCC shows the largest number of these associations.

The most reproducible STING1-associated genes across cancer lineages are JAML, RNASE6, and CYTH4. Each is linked with STING1 in more than 6 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both STING1-to-partner and partner-to-STING1 results are reported.
