Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, STIMATE Mutation is linked to patient survival in 4 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated STIMATE data layer compared with 20 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in stomach adenocarcinoma (STAD), where higher STIMATE Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated STIMATE expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as UCEC show a favorable association.
STAD, BLCA, and PRAD are the cancer types where STIMATE Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
