Across TCGA patient cohorts, STIMATE RNA expression is significantly associated with the protein abundance of many other proteins, with 9,142 significant associations in total. LUAD shows the largest number of these associations.

The most reproducible STIMATE-associated proteins across cancer lineages are TWF2, DOCK10, and AIF1. Each is linked with STIMATE in more than 4 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both STIMATE-to-partner and partner-to-STIMATE results are reported.
