Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, STIM1-AS1 RNA is linked to patient survival in 25 of 34 cancer types, making it the most broadly survival-associated STIM1-AS1 data layer.

The strongest signal is observed in mesothelioma (MESO), where higher STIM1-AS1 RNA is associated with better disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated STIM1-AS1 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as MESO and ESCA show a favorable association.

MESO, KIRC, and BLCA are the cancer types where STIM1-AS1 RNA most reproducibly stratifies survival.
