Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, STEAP3 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 3 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated STEAP3 data layer compared with 24 for mass-spec protein and 4 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in colon adenocarcinoma (COAD), where higher STEAP3 Mutation is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated STEAP3 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker.
COAD, UCEC, and STAD are the cancer types where STEAP3 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
