Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, STARP1 RNA is linked to patient survival in 20 of 34 cancer types, making it the most broadly survival-associated STARP1 data layer.
The strongest signal is observed in bladder urothelial carcinoma (BLCA), where higher STARP1 RNA is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated STARP1 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as UCS and OV show a favorable association.
BLCA, STAD, and LUSC are the cancer types where STARP1 RNA most reproducibly stratifies survival.
