Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, STARD7 mass-spec protein is linked to patient survival in 6 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated STARD7 data layer compared with 22 for mass-spec protein and 2 for mutation status.

The strongest signal is observed in head and neck squamous cell carcinoma (HNSC), where higher STARD7 mass-spec protein is associated with better disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated STARD7 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as HNSC and LUAD show a favorable association.

HNSC, GBM, and OV are the cancer types where STARD7 mass-spec protein most reproducibly stratifies survival.
