Across TCGA patient cohorts, STARD5 protein abundance is significantly associated with the RNA expression of many other genes, with 15,188 significant associations in total. LSCC shows the largest number of these associations.
The most reproducible STARD5-associated genes across cancer lineages are IGHV3OR16-9, IGLV2-14, and IGLV2-11. Each is linked with STARD5 in more than 6 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both STARD5-to-partner and partner-to-STARD5 results are reported.
Each partner links to its own Q-omics profile. The scatter plot shows the strongest example, STARD5 versus IGHV3OR16-9 in LSCC, with a Pearson correlation of 0.33.
