Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, STARD4 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 1 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated STARD4 data layer compared with 26 for mass-spec protein and 5 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in sarcoma (SARC), where higher STARD4 Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated STARD4 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker.
SARC are the cancer types where STARD4 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
