Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, STARD3NL Mutation is linked to patient survival in 2 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated STARD3NL data layer compared with 27 for mass-spec protein and 5 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in cervical squamous cell carcinoma and endocervical adenocarcinoma (CESC), where higher STARD3NL Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated STARD3NL expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker.
CESC and GBM are the cancer types where STARD3NL Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
