Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, STARD13-IT1 RNA is linked to patient survival in 19 of 34 cancer types, making it the most broadly survival-associated STARD13-IT1 data layer.
The strongest signal is observed in cervical squamous cell carcinoma and endocervical adenocarcinoma (CESC), where higher STARD13-IT1 RNA is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated STARD13-IT1 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as UCS and OV show a favorable association.
CESC, UCS, and KIRP are the cancer types where STARD13-IT1 RNA most reproducibly stratifies survival.
