Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, STAG3L4 RNA is linked to patient survival in 19 of 34 cancer types, making it the most broadly survival-associated STAG3L4 data layer compared with 3 for mutation status and 2 for mass-spec protein.

The strongest signal is observed in colon adenocarcinoma (COAD), where higher STAG3L4 RNA is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated STAG3L4 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as PAAD and DLBC show a favorable association.

COAD, ACC, and HNSC are the cancer types where STAG3L4 RNA most reproducibly stratifies survival.
