Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, STAG3L4 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 3 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated STAG3L4 data layer compared with 19 for mass-spec protein and 2 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in brain lower grade glioma (LGG), where higher STAG3L4 Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated STAG3L4 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as UCEC show a favorable association.
LGG, PRAD, and UCEC are the cancer types where STAG3L4 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
